Check-in starts no earlier than at 3PM. Late check-in is fine. Please call or text our cell number provided in your confirmation to let us know when to expect you. Please be familiar with the map of our property and go directly to your cottage on arrival. Our lobby room is closed due to COVID-19.
Please settle your bill prior to arrival. Visa & MasterCard accepted. Your credit card is required to confirm your reservation. We will pre-authorize your card for one of your nights and charge the total of your stay two days ahead of your arrival. We will leave the receipt slip in your cottage for you to sign and leave there for us.
Check-out is no later than 11AM. Please turn off lights, heater & a/c prior to departure, leave the towels hanging to dry, the sheets on the bed and the key on the kitchen table. We will pick up the trash, recycling and compost pails after your check-out (or upon request during your stay).
Reservations cancelled at least two weeks prior to your arrival date will be charged 10% of your total. No portion of a cancelled stay will be available. Cancellations made within two weeks of your planned arrival will be charged HALF of the total. If we are able to rebook your cottage then just the 10% fee will apply. The FULL amount will be charged for cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled arrival. Changes to your reservation must be made by email or phone and will be charged a $20 fee per cottage.
Your well-behaved pet is welcome. Pets are not allowed on furniture, bedding or towels. If this will be difficult for you or you pet, please bring your own covers for our furniture. Your dog must be under your voice command or on a leash when outdoors. Guests are financially responsible for all physical damages to property (i.e. chewing, scratching, etc.), and extra cleaning (i.e. soiled furniture and/or flooring, hair on furnishings or bedding). The credit card on file will be charged for the amount of the repair/recovery. No pets to be left alone in cottage unless crated and you have informed us you’ll be doing so and have given us a contact number to reach you. We, our neighbors and the other guests will not enjoy listening to a barking dog, so if you own a barker please leave him home or bring him on your outing with you. Pet fee is required for each cottage you plan to bring your pet into (if your group has multiple cottages).
We are Housekeeping Cottages, which means guests are responsible for their own housekeeping and must leave the kitchen clean at departure. If you are staying more than four nights, we will exchange your bedding and towels. Trash, recycling and compost must be separated by the guest. Instructions and receptacles are provided.
No visitors to your cottage. If you would like to entertain, please do so off site.
Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 9 AM. No smoking or candles inside.
Clove Cottages is not responsible for mechanical failures such as, but not limited to, air conditioning or any other appliance that fails to operate properly during your stay. These failures are beyond our control & no refund will be given. Please report inoperative equipment and we will make every effort to have repairs done or replacements made as quickly as possible during reasonable hours. You agree that we may enter the cottage during reasonable hours to inspect it or to make repairs. We will make arrangements with you prior to any non emergency entry and will use protective gear in light of the pandemic. You agree to conduct yourself according to our policies, payment terms and conditions prior to making reservations to stay with us.
